Things you should know about rock climbing in Hells Gate National Park

  • You can leave Nairobi and get to Hells Gate National Park in about one and a half hours.
  • Hells gate has so many rocks that can be used for rock climbing.
  • It will cost you only Ksh 600 to rock climb.
  • You don’t need to be a pro to rock climb.
  • You don’t have to have to buy  or own the special gear to use for rock climbing, the 600 shillings caters for the support gear and helmet.

Leleshwa Getaway…

Leleshwa getaway is nice weekend chill out place in the outskirts of Nairobi. It can be accessed from Ongata Rongai or the opposite route of Kitengela. However, the first route is shorter.

I was excited about this getaway spot and so I decided to contact the proprietor Richard to find out its availability.
